COACHELLA

In 2008 Sarah Schiderman, of Scene Creative, was asked by Goldenvoice to create a free DIY space at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festivals. She put together a core team to produce the first iteration of the Coachella Art Studios and brought me on to help ideate and build the concept from the ground up.

The ten year anniversary of this project was Coachella 2018, and the project has expanded to a 40’ x 40’ footprint in the heart of the Coachella Fest Campgrounds. It was expanded in 2018 to include two art rooms contained within the space and I co-produced both with artist Salvador Placentia . This included creating pitches, building budgets, sourcing materials, a building out the two spaces.
