Facebook Community Summit 2019

I was hired by Quintessentially as a Senior Events Manager for the second annual Facebook Community Summit at the Facebook campus in Palo Alto.

I managed the room block with our registration partner to order and deliver a personalized welcome gift to over 450 guests spread over 3 San Francisco Hotels. This included working with the Executive Producer to translate every detail communicated to us by the client, to our vendors to bring that vision that to life.

I then staffed a group of 5 to organize and assemble the gift boxes, managed the mail merge file to print out the personalized welcome letters, coordinated the logistics with our point of contact at each hotel, and lastly delivered the allotment to each hotel.

During the two day summit, I was the room producer for one of three breakout rooms. I was the go between A/V tech team and Facebook. I prepped and talked to presenters though the tech flow so they were set for the next day. I worked with a team of PAs to quickly reset the stage for each presentation and was in constant communication with the main stage so the breakout room was running concurrent to that schedule.
