MUTEK SF
Mutek as a festival and organization started in Montreal and later expanded to Barcelona, Tokyo, Buenos Aries, Dubai. In Spring 2018, the first US festival in San Francisco was launched by pillars in the SF electronic music and arts scene . I was brought on as the Culinary Program Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator.
Mutek SF was over 4 days in spaces all across the city, and the culinary track was developed to share the best SF had to offer around the venues. It was masterfully created by the Culinary Director to include restaurants from hole in wall mom and pops to restaurants with Michelin Stars. It was my job to make first contact with restaurants, develop relationships, and get partner deals for Mutek SF Attendees.
I also managed an incredible team of 25 volunteers that worked across all departments of the festival. I created the intake form, communicated with volunteers before the festival to prep them and to work out a schedule that worked for everyone. I also managed the assembly of folders and gift bags that included premiums from sponsors that went to artists and VIPs.
